THE CRAPBOOK

Its been more than a month since I blogged. I occasionaly flip through the blogs on my blog roll but never left a comment.
Seems like I am busy with many other things !.
The kiddo is 6 month old and is keeping me busy. I spent more time with him and wifey than on the internet. I think that is nice.

Recently I read an article on TOI which said that a research(I am not sure who spent time on such research) found that people in the US spent more time on the internet than with their family. People spent more time on social networking sites, ‘networking’ read ‘browsing other profiles & photos’ than with their own family.

But I guess I should indeed find time to blog.

I started blogging at wordpress in July 2006, it’s been two years. I have limited readers, very less hits and very few posts(156). I have many blogs on my reader, but I frequently visit only a few. Thanks to all my lovely readers and comments, it keeps me going with all the crap !.

Okay. So that’s a huge setback. My laptop or to be precise my antivirus/internet security software has blocked ma site. So each time I try to login it says I am trying to access my site its blocked. The reason? The word crap in it.

Well this post is not to let you guys know that I bought myself a laptop.  Compaq presario. with Turion…..

Just like I was saying this post is not to let you guys know that I bought a laptop (I am repeating that again aint I?), but that like myself many others who are trying to access my site would be blocked not cause of it contents (which according to me is suitable for all ages) but cause of the blog name.

Well that just sad.

I was just going through the Blog Stats section today and I am surprised to see how people land on my blog. It’s hilarious, yet questioning how the search engines direct people to the wrong site and providing them with less or no information on what they were searching for. I am not complaining though…..  (I did not get the first HIT)  Some of the items they searched were 

“security guard in trivandrum” and he got this post : Security Guards

“writing a complaint against employee” and he got directed to this post Tips In Writing a Complaint

“pureit water purifier” this is valid and he got this post. Review 1 

“complaint against auto meters in Bangalore”  and “bangalore autorickshaw complaint” Scary AutoRickshaws !

“Bangalore mirror website” he got this post  Another Post Featured in Bangalore Mirror.           

I guess its high time they start a website on their own..

“stupid American inventions” and he got this post American ‘Inventors’

“”how to take revenge”” Gosh !!!! Imagine what people are searching on google !!!! and he got this  I hate dogs from 3rd July 2007 

 I guess there are more people out there who had bad experiences with the auto rickshaws in Bangalore who reached my blog that anyone else.
